Installation Instructions

Extract the files to your Poser folder. i.e. the directory where you have Poser.exe installed. Then by selecting "use folder names" in WinZip, files will be correctly positioned automatically. If you prefer to do it manually the files should be placed thus:-

All.OBJ Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Geometries\PhilC\
All.JPG Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Textures\PhilC\
Character.CR2 Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Libraries\character\folder-of-your-choice
Character.RSR Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Libraries\character\folder-of-your-choice
ALL other files Program Files\Curious Labs\Poser 4\Runtime\Read Me\ (These are the instructions)

The Poser program used to be owned by Metacreations. Earlier versions may have their folder name in place of Curious Labs. It is the file path "Runtime" and below that is important. Using Winzip it will look like this:-

A picture is worth a thousand words

Please ensure that you have the latest Poser Patch installed, I have found that some models tend to sulk if they are not housed in the most up to date accommodation
The patch can be obtained from http://www.e-frontier.com

Mac users will need to make a file conversion using two free utilities. They are Macinstaller and Maconcerter.

The procedure is:-

To use the figure

In Poser open the Library window. Select Characters, the figure will be in the PhilC Designs folder. Load into the scene using the check marks at the bottom. The costume conforms to the Vicki figure. The head piece is parented to Vicki's head, you can pose the tails. The leash contains "Easy Pose" dials. Start by selecting the neck manacle and turn a few dials, you'll soon get the hang of it.

Note that to save your download time and my bandwidth Vicki is supplied without morphs. This also ensures that I have not inadvertently included and V2 data. Once you see how the figure is set up you can swop her with the Vicki of your choice.
