Installing the unzip utility on a PC

Since the unzip utility is delived in a zip file I felt it prudent to include a video tutorial showing how to install it.

The Camtasia Studio video content presented here requires JavaScript to be enabled and the latest version of the Macromedia Flash Player. If you are you using a browser with JavaScript disabled please enable it now. Otherwise, please update your version of the free Flash Player by downloading here.

Close Poser.
Open Windows Explorer by right clicking the desktop "My Computer" icon and select "Explore".
In Windows Explorer find the downloaded file unzip_P7.zip (or for Poser 6 unzip_P6.zip)
Double click on it to open it, alternativly right click and select "explore". If you have WinZip installed please see this tutorial.
Open another Explorer window and navigate to your Poser 7 folder.
Drag the Runtime folder from the zip file into your Poser 7 folder. Ensure that you drop it into a clear area and not onto another folder within the Poser 7 folder.
At the prompt click OK
Re-open Poser and use the menu Script > PhilC > start_P7_start_unzip (You need to have closed then re-opened Poser for it to recognize the new files.)
The unzip window will open and you will be able to continue installing your other Poser zips. Remember to first always check that they are in a suitable format.
