|
|
Hi, I recently bought the Poser Toolbox and I have an issue transferring morphs between figures. I have read the documentation but I think I'm making some mistake.
Here is how a simple example I tried, on Poser Pro:
1) I loaded two Simon's figures
2) Morphed a bit one Simon
3) clicked on first Simon and set it as the original figure
4) clicked on second (morphed) Simon and set it as the morphed figure
5) clicked on transfer morph
I always get the error "figures not compatible", but I'm not sure what's wrong.
Thanks for any help. |

Could you please save the scene and send it to me as a zipped attachement. I'll then be able to take a look at it. _________________

OK, loaded your PZ3 and was able to transfer the morph from fig 2 to fig 1. However your vertices order is incompatible resulting in an "exploding morph".
I tried again by manually saving each body part of fig 2 and applying it to fig one. Same result.
I tried various methods using different applications to try and correct the vertex order but was unable to do so.
Suggest that you review the method by which you create the morph initially. _________________

Thanks for your answer Phil. It's okay about the exploding morph, I just created the morphed figure using Zbrush (without pre-exporting geometry from Poser first).
But how did you manage to transfer morphs anyway ? Did I make some mistakes in the procedure (as I described in the initial post) ? I ask this because I always got a "figures not compatible" error.
Thanks again |
